Cooperative Baptist Fellowship
| Trinity is the only Baptist church in the Upper Valley that is a member of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). The CBF began in 1991 as a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ—as described in Matthew 28:19–20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” CBF churches share a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. The CBF vision is to be the presence of Christ in the world, and its mission is to serve Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission. One of the CBF’s most famous and avid supporters is human rights advocate and former United States president Jimmy Carter. Trinity also cooperates with the American Baptist Churches USA and other regional Baptist groups. |
